It is your responsibility to check these Terms & Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.

The presence of the website, eyewear articles (including but not restricted to glasses, sunglasses, lenses and contact lenses) and services for sale does not imply any requirement on the part of Iris.org.uk ltd to sell or provide services to customers. We can decide at any time for any reason not to sell articles or provide services to any customer.

This right is solely at the discretion of any authorised Iris.org.uk ltd employee. In the case in which Iris.org.uk ltd does refuse to sell articles or provide services to a customer, Iris.org.uk ltd is not required to supply a reason for doing so. By using this website, you agree to abide by the decision of Iris.org.uk ltd if it decides to refuse to supply articles or provide services to you, and to forfeit any right or claims that you may have recourse to enforce Iris.org.uk ltd to supply articles or provide services to you.Iris.org.uk ltd must receive payment in full for the goods that have been ordered before an order can be accepted.Once payment has been received we will confirm by email that your order has been accepted by sending an email to the email address provided by you in your order.

Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between you and Iris.org.uk ltdBy placing an order you confirm that: You are over 16 years of age
You are not registered blind or partially sighted
You have had an eye examination within the last 24 months and that your prescription is less than two (2) years old
You have input your prescription details correctly
Your prescription spherical power lies between +/-10.00 dioptres and cylindrical power of +/-4.00 dioptres
Unless otherwise stated by you in your order, you accept a PD measurement of 63mm.
We reserve the right to cancel a contract, notwithstanding that a confirmation email has been sent by Iris.org.uk ltd to you, and whether or not payment has been made if, but not exclusively where:We have insufficient stock to deliver the ordered goods
We are unable to deliver to your area
Any goods ordered by you was listed on the web site at an incorrect price due to a typographical error
If we decide to cancel a contract, we will notify you as soon as practicably possible, by email to the email address supplied with your order and we will refund you as soon as possible, but certainly within 30 days.Iris.org.uk ltd may make changes to any products or services offered on the Site, or to the applicable prices for any such products or services, at any time, without notice. The materials on the Site with respect to products and services may be out of date, and Iris.org.uk ltd makes no commitment to update the materials on the Site with respect to such products and services

VAT
Prices displayed on our web site are inclusive of United Kingdom Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate. Value Added Tax is charged on all sales.

Right to Cancel
You may cancel your contract with Iris.org.uk ltd up to seven (7) days from placing your order or up until any order has been dispatched by Iris.org.uk ltd, which ever is the lesser. This right to cancel does not apply to prescription glasses or prescription sunglasses at any time after we have started to glaze/manufacture prescription lenses for you. To cancel your contract you must notify us in writing. If you have received the goods before your right to cancel your contract expires we may still allow cancellation but the goods must be returned to Iris.org.uk ltd, at your cost and in the condition which they were in when they were dispatched to you. If this is not the case we are unable to offer any refund. It is your responsibility to ensure that all goods to be returned are packaged in a suitable material to ensure their safe delivery. Any goods that are returned in accordance with the terms and conditions stated and accepted for refund will be refunded in full subject to a £10 re-stocking and handling charge per frame.

Sunglass Exchange Policy
All non-prescription Sunglasses carry a manufacturer’s warranty. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your frames and lenses, you may return them, but you must return them within 7 days of dispatch for an exchange. The dispatch date is the date at which the product has been dispatched by Iris.org.uk ltd. Where the price of the goods to be exchanged is less than the new price the difference must be paid prior to dispatch of the goods. Where the price of the exchange item is greater a credit note will be enclosed with the dispatched goods.
After 30 days, if you detect a manufacturing defect that is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, return the glasses to us and we will process the return. All items to be exchanged must carry a RON (Return Order Number). This number will be supplied by Iris.org.uk ltd. Returned goods without a RON will not be accepted for exchange or return.

Prescription Glasses and Prescription Sunglasses Exchange Policy
All prescription glasses and sunglasses are considered special orders, and are therefore non-refundable or exchangeable.

Receiving Incorrect Product or Product of Not Satisfactory Quality
If you receive incorrect product or product of not satisfactory quality, contact Customer Service within 24 hours of receipt by email at info@Iris.org.uk ltd or telephone 0845 345 5421. Please quote your Order ID number at the time of contact.
If you have not contacted Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving your product, it may affect your right to have the product replaced or exchanged.

Repairs and Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy
You receive the same warranties we receive from manufacturers and suppliers, allowing you full advantage of the warranties available.
Prescription Frames
All prescription frames are warranted in line with manufacturers warranty from the date of purchase against any manufacturer’s defects. Manufacturer’s defects include: structural design, hinges, welding points, and colourings. Manufacturer’s defects DO NOT include: misuse causing frame damage, scratching or tarnish, bending or twisting the frame; or any other damage not considered a manufacturing flaw.
Prescription Lenses
Where a prescription lens comes with a scratch-resistant coating it should be noted that no lens is scratch proof and rough handling or incorrect cleaning can create surface scratches or distortions.
Sunglasses
Certain manufacturers process repairs and warranty defects directly. Dealing directly with the manufacturer can be convenient and save you time and money. Should your product contain information relating to manufacture warranties from the manufacturer please return your product direct to the manufacturer to save time. Please note that there is no scratch resistant warranty on sunglass lenses

Delivery
We will dispatch the products ordered by post to you at the address given to us at the time the order is placed. Dispatch will be made as soon as practicable after the order is placed and in any event within 21 days. If we are unable to dispatch, for any reason within this time period you will be notified and given the option to cancel your order. You agree that we will not be liable for any losses, damages or charges incurred as a result of the late delivery of goods. Once the goods have been dispatched to you, you are the legal owner of the goods. They will be held at your own risk and we will not be held liable for the loss of or damage to, the goods. Please note that you have the option to select your preferred method of posting.

Web Site Product Colour Representation
We cannot guarantee that the colour of the products shown on this website will look like the actual product that you receive. Although we use highly advanced photographic techniques and take special care to ensure accurate colour representation, actual colours can vary from virtual colours due to the varied colour settings used by your computer monitor.

Glasses, Sunglasses, Contact Lenses and Safety
The decision of whether or not to wear eyeglasses, or to cause others to or not to wear eyeglasses, sunglasses and/or contact lenses, is a personal decision that users of this website must make in consultation with an Optometrist or Doctor. Iris.org.uk ltd does not warrant, and cannot be held responsible for the results of this decision. Further, Iris.org.uk ltd does not represent or warrant the quality of the products for which it acts as a retailer. Iris.org.uk ltd is not responsible for any injury or injuries that occur due to a defect in a product’s manufacture. Iris.org.uk ltd does not warrant and can not be held responsible for any incorrect prescription supplied and/or fitted whether the responsibility of Iris.org.uk ltd or not, and any consequences thereof.

Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, in no event will Iris.org.uk ltd be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if Iris.org.uk ltd has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Iris.org.uk ltd can only be liable for direct loss up to the value for which the product or goods purchased to which any claim relates
